Networking

Computers are lots of fun but not much help if they can't communicate with each other. Of course the Internet is the first thing that comes to mind, but you can and should also network your home computers together so you can share data and play games together.

Most people don't want to spend a lot of money on 'infrastructure' -- they just want to be able to print to Dad's computer upstairs or transfer a file to the laptop before leaving for work. To this end, wireless networking is your best bet.

We can help you set up a simple wireless network in your house for less money than you might think. Your ISP's internet router probably already has wireless broadcasting built-in; so might your laptop. It's easy to add USB devices that connect desktop computers to your wireless network as well.

We can also help ensure that your wireless network is properly secured so your data and your bandwidth are not accessible to strangers outside your home.
